Deb, a proud member of the Samuawgadhalgal (Cassowary Clan) with ancestral ties to the Western Torres Strait islands of Saibai, Dauan, and the Bamaga-Saibai community of Cape York, shares her journey and inspirations. Currently residing on Juru lands in Bowen, North Queensland, Deb is not only a practicing artist but also an educator and curriculum writer, deeply committed to her cultural heritage and artistic expression.
